Sweet perfumes, often called gourmand, use notes that smell edible: vanilla, caramel, praline, honey, tonka bean. They are popular in winter and in the evening, and they range from soft and creamy to heavy and rich. This list goes from the first to the second.

From soft to rich
- Nawa – Earth Collection Musk, almond and praline over vanilla and amber. The softest, and the cheapest of the list at EGP 70 for 3 ml.
- Khamrah Cinnamon, nutmeg and bergamot with dates and praline over Roman musk, vanilla, tonka and amber wood. Sweet and spiced, at EGP 100.
- Her Confession Cinnamon, jasmine, incense and Roman musk over vanilla, musk and tonka. Sweet with a smoky, floral edge.
- Candy – Misk Bergamot, jasmine, rose and iris over sandalwood, amber, musk, vanilla and caramel. A floral-caramel sweet.
- Sukkar – Misk Violet, rose and jasmine over amber, iris, caramel, musk, cedar and honey. Sweet, floral and honeyed.
- Liquid Brun Cinnamon, orange blossom and cardamom over Bourbon vanilla, praline, ambroxan and musk. Rich and gourmand.
- Asad Bourbon Lavender, mirabelle and pink pepper with cocoa and nutmeg over Bourbon vanilla and amber. Creamy, dark and sweet.
Sweet perfumes can feel heavy in heat, so most of these are best in the cooler months or in the evening. Try one in 3 ml before committing to a bottle: sweetness is very personal.
